myths and goddesses

read artist statement
The works in this series blend abstraction in painting with photography to explore imagery and meaning. In Myths and Goddesses, I use vintage public domain images to examine how myths shape our understanding of the world and our place within it. These timeless stories offer a lens through which we can connect to something larger than ourselves. By constantly pushing the boundaries of my practice, I aim to provoke reflection on the human experience and inspire a broader sense of our collective potential. This series was created in 2022 using acrylic paint and photography on wood panels.
